Aromatherapy is the art and science of using essential oils to calm, balance, and rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit. Essential oils are highly concentrated tiny molecules considered to be the immune system of the plant. Essential oils are aromatic, odorous, highly volatile, and sensitive to heat and light. They contain vitamins and hormones, and they mix well with oils and creams but tend to separate in water-based products. Essential oils affect us in different ways, whether we inhale the aroma or apply it topically and allow it to penetrate the skin (transdermally).
Note — Only tea tree and lavender can be used directly on your skin. All other oils must be used diluted in a base blend. These oils are 100% pure essential oils and are very potent.
