Exfoliating Gloves
Skin Blends Exfoliating Gloves offer a spa-style body scrub at home. Used correctly, they help remove dead skin, improve softness and circulation, prep skin for self-tanning or moisturizers, and are hygienically cleanable (machine washable).
Key Benefits:
- Provides enhanced circulation to feed the skin nutrients, oxygen and hydration.
- Helps stimulate lymphatic drainage when used to massage/stroke towards your heart.
- Allows for a better absorption of moisturizers, tanners, or oils.
- Economical – cleanser stays in the gloves instead of down the drain, so you use less product and product is able to work better.

- Soak Gloves: After you are wet, slip gloves on & drench them.
- Apply Skin Blends product: Apply Skin Blends Cleanser or Scrub into the gloves and lather.
- Buff gently: Gently scrub using long upward, downward or circular strokes. Adjust pressure depending on area and sensitivity. Avoid sensitive areas.
- Rinse gloves: Rinse gloves under running water (no soap needed), then hang to dry or launder per instructions with wash cloths and towels.
- Body Dry: Exit the water and gently pat body dry using a clean towel.
- Aftercare: Follow up with Skin Blends Organic Body Oil or Alpha Beta X then NHance Body Moisturizer, to hydrate and seal in softness. You can rotate between Alpha Beta X and Organic Body Oils depending if your body needs more skin renewal or more moisture.
Use Frequency & Maintenance
- Frequency: Deep exfoliation once per week is recommended. Daily use with shampoo may be okay for normal to oily skin types, but sensitive or dry skin should stick to weekly usage to avoid over-stripping natural oils.
- Cleaning & storage: Rinse without soap after each use, air-dry thoroughly, or machine-wash cold without detergent or fabric softener. Avoid tumble-dry.
- Replacement: Recommended every 3-4 months for best effectiveness and hygiene.
Tips & Precautions
Do not use on irritated or broken skin, eczema, cuts, or burns. Avoid chest/nipple, genital, or face areas unless using a glove specifically designed for facial skin.
It’s normal to experience slight redness or see dead skin roll off during exfoliation – this indicates effective treatment.
If the glove feels rough or painful, reduce pressure and build up slowly over sessions to acclimate sensitive skin.
If skin is not sensitive, try using the gloves dry, on your body before bathing, in place of a brush for “dry brushing” your body.
